Oh dear looks like google made all the wrong moves according to this article: Google+ Is Dead I'm not sure I totally agree, but the article makes some good points, what do you think?
Hi ... good article, thanks for the referral. I have yet to decide. Chime.in, at about 6 weeks old, has more to offer than +1. There's usually some success in starting and progressing, not standing still. We may be seeing the beginning of a traditional media alignment, that is, when the audience begins to spread across alternatives. Once, CBS, NBC and ABC dominated television viewing, with a combined rating of 90%. Today, that combined rating is maybe 35%, as the audience discovered niche digital channels. In 10 years, there may be 10 or 15 sites, such as Facebook, Chime, +1 and so forth, thriving. TNQ!
according to this post Google is dead but who knows what is in their head don't forget that they are Google the grand dady of Internet marketing.
Google seems to rush on implement the google +, the base is not strong enough, it seems dying now just as google wave
In my opinion Google+ failed because it failed to offer anything new. It just followed the way of facebook.
I signed up for Google+ but don't really use it and find it about as stupid as twitter, also have an account there that does not get used. Just don't see the point
i think the failure is just temp. if they continue improving it and add all those google services to plus combined with the fact that more people start using google plus so that one may find SOMEONE to interact with when they open G+ !!
Give it some time.... don't like Fb because of their lack of security. It also took some years for Fb to beat MySpace.
