I need FUN and CREATIVE logo and background for the site http://www.tuhoy.com/
It's a party site, where people can see pictures taken in nightclubs. The logo must reflect this spirit, background must be simple. I want visitors focus on content not on the background.

The site is not live yet so you can play around with the colors. The colors of the site can be changed based on the logo selected but the site gives you a general idea of what I have in mind.

The logo contest winner gets $60 USD through PayPal as soon as I have decided on the winner. Contest will end as soon as a logo I like has been submitted but the contest will end after 72H from my thread being created.

Not bad, procrusher. But I think the font of the logo is not readable enough.
Also I prefer light colored backgrounds, not black.

I like the background, but not the logo.

I should also specify that TuHoy is Spanish for YouToday.
As in "What are you doing today? What are your plans today? Who are you today?" etc.

Keep them coming, guys.

Hey Guys, still looking, I like some of the concepts so far. "screwedup" is my partner on this project so he'll be helping to pick the winner of course.

 

Thanks for another entry, procrusher.
I find the background a little hypnotizing on the eyes. And the logo is quite thin. When resized it won't be easy to ready.
At first I hardly realized there is people partying at the bottom.

I want to clarify that the logo will be resized to 200x60 (WxH) or less and placed on the top left of the site. Take the logos of these sites for example:

youtube.com
alexa.com
blogger.com
twitter.com
Simple and small logos so that the surfer can get to the important stuff: content.

So far Chris.B's logo is the best. I find the T rather odd but on the other hand, it's easy to brand that way. And easy to usa as a favicon. Such a favicon will set itself apart between the other tabs that the surfer might have open.
