Hello all, I am looking into starting a private blog network for links and seo purposes. I know there is a lot to be aware of such as IPs, domains, content, layout..etc but I wanted to get thoughts. I do not want to pay for a blog network monthly, to just have my posts backlogged in 6 months. I am tired of paying expensive seo fees. I want something that I can rely on and can control and that puts out good results. What do yall think?
When it comes to making certain relevance, if you are your particular niche you can test and theme the domain names and content around that subject so our sites are usually designed round the broad groups we operate in 3-4 niche's The choice is always to create generally designed personal blogs should you wanted for their services to connect to sites on different subjects.
i am trying to do the same thing... Things you have to keep in mind is how to interlink the sites and how many different categories of sites you need in order to sustain your network. Obviously there will be your good sites...you medium....and your thrash... you interlink them creating value to your good sites. The way you do it however, is a pain. The more sites you have the more complicated it gets...
I am a member of a blog network with thousands of blogs that everyone can post to. It is hard work getting all the articles in, but when you get 15 back links a day its well worth it. All of the websites are PR1 - Pr5 so there always going to be beneficial. Having the time to build the content is the part thats hard, and you also have to use your OWN blogs to join the network, so you have to have a high pr site to join + hosting + know how to setup wordpress etc. I am actually looking at setting up a subscription based service and doing it all for a fixed price per month, so you can get access, but not have to do anything and still get the back links. At the moment its going quite well and I am getting some good results for 3 websites I have put in the network so far. Got three more websites I need to rank so they will be going in the mix soon! Lots of content to write though for that many sites but its worth it
I'm also in this Network your talking about ALN. But it's not that great as more and more Blogs in it are getting deindexed. None of my links have been indexed in the past 6 days. Private Networks work much better.
This is the best option. It takes time/money to build a legit high PR Blog Network but really worth it. At the first of the year I plan on building my own Network. PR5 and higher domains with .com ext only. Unique C class ip hosting for each, different themes/layouts, different domain registrars, who-is protection, only 100% Unique content, no interlinking site's. I'm planning this will take about 12 months and about $2000-$2500 to complete. Not only will this save money with SEO ranking my own sites but can make money with the Network. If your going to do it, do it correctly for the best results. I've seen some trying this by buying some new .info's for next to nothing, it will be a waste of their time and money. Nobody said it was cheap or easy to do. This is why there's only a handful of good Private Blog Network Services around.
If you are looking at private blog network, Please try to create "Relevant Network". Google want relevant backlinks, otherwise you will be vanished.
You NEVER want to interlink your sites in a Private Blog Network, that's leaving a footprint. You want to minimize all footprints. You'll want to get your links from outside your sites (other peoples high PR Network) and all the normal back linking methods. If done right all sites will be great, none will be trash.
Are you even trying to get them indexed? How many posts have you done over the 6 days? There is nothing wrong with ALN, I have about 6 sites im running through it and getting awesome results. If you have a problem with indexing, why not just do something about it instead of blaming the network?
I used to use BMR a lot but I see a lot of their blogs have lost their PR and are down to zero. Anyone knows any alternatives?
The posts aren't getting indexed because they get posted on DEINDEXED Blogs. If the Blogs that get posted on aren't indexed, neither will the posts. They need to stay on top of clearing out the deindexed blogs. People are too lazy to even change the WP default Themes.
I started my own private blog network and I can tell you that it is not easy at first. Very pricey to get all the domains and having 3 domains per ip can really add up. I am currently up to almost 4000 blogs and getting there was a nightmare.
Around 7k give or take. The setup was a pain. Ramping up to that many blogs and only allowing 3 domains per ip can get pricey.
Wow! How were you able to afford all those domains? A .com domain is about $10, 4000 blogs would be $40,000. Or are you using cheaper domains? Subdomains?
4000 blogs I highly doubt it. 3 domains on an IP, get ready for your make believe Network to get de-indexed. Got to love noobs BS posts.
