If I already submitted few articles which got only 1 or 2 diggs is it better that I make new account?
And if I'm new user and try to become friends to top50 users will they accept me?

I think the key in this case is to make your content sticky.

 

my thing with this post is how is me posting about another site going to bring my site hits.
I see on dig there going to go to where the story is mostly like fox and other places how would my site come in.

One thing that always seems to puzzle me is why some stories reach the front page while others don't even come close. A lot of stories that are original, newsworthy, and popular elsewhere on the net, only have a few diggs. Why?

I think the time of the day and week play a major role.
