In addition to the great ideas already submitted, and the great ones I'm sure to come, also looking for someone to build the idea submitted:
What if you just had like little people sitting on top of the letters, like some waving to each other, others talking on the phone or playing a game or getting a drink, others laughing

Logo contest for It’s Platonic (itsplatonic.com; not yet launched) which will be an online friendship-making site. Think match.com with a focus on friendship rather than romance.

This is a 48hr contest w/ guaranteed winner. $30 by PayPal immediately upon winner selection.

Style & Examples

I would like the logo to be simple (and say the name of the website plainly) but connected to the friendship-making theme. Some examples of logos with styles I like:

Mint.com, WrapIt, Gmail, JDate, Meetup

Logo can say It’s Platonic or ItsPlatonic.com depending on what works best for your design. A hybrid treatment of the name/.com like the JDate example (brand name, small .com) is best.

Feel free to be creative! These are just guidelines to help, but if you have a better idea, go for it. Thanks for entering!

· PSD and PNG image formats from the winner
· Zero-tolerance approach to copying.
· Original work: No templates or stock-images.

@natalie & @mr.badz: I'm not sure what is inspiring the hearts in the designs... this is for friendship, strictly NOT romantic.

@kainraziall I really enjoy your design. I have 2 ideas that would bring it even closer to what I'm looking for.
1. Would it be possible to remove the image above the text and incorporate that high five like image into the text like you started to do with the first i?
and/or 2. Could you use the high five image as a dot on the initial i? That could look great.

@angelart I really like the look/feel of the design. Can you think of a way to make it more friendship oriented?

@saud I look the look/feel, but it would need to have friendship pictured in it somehow to have a chance to win

@dumindishalika Appreciate the submission, is there a way you can work a friendship connotation into the wording more?

@biggmen: This is not really what I'm looking for. I prefer the cleaner look that some of the other submissions have.
