Is there anything else?

I am curious about the future of this AdSense forum. Is there really anything else that needs to be said that hasn't been said before.

For those of you who have been here for more than 6 months: Do you learn anything from this forum any more?

You can only learn so much by reading. When I came here first I thought I couldn't learn anymore about Adsense and it took me to actually go out and try out a lot of my own ideas before some of the things people were saying made sense.

So yeah I still learn things from this forum but I don't depend entirely on it.

Well, I'm new to Adsense and new to this forum, so just about everything I read is new to me. I do a lot more reading than I do typing but I find it all very interesting.

I joined Adsense to make my fortune. I found I wasn't any good as a crook so I decided to be a millionaire instead. So far I've made $9.57 towards my new yacht.... :)

$9.57 might buy you a repossessed yacht in Canada! At least it's a start!

These Adsense forums have not really taught me a lot. I find that reading and pondering whether making money is possible w/ Adsense is pointless. You need to experiment and actually do it. You need to be the one constantly tweaking and optimizing the ads for your own site.

I haven't learned much from these forums, but they are a good resource for newbies.

There is no "one size fits all" procedure for making money off of AdSense. Many AdSense forums seem to emphasize hype over substance, rendering them fairly useless in my opinion. Still, if you glean through the threads you are bound to find some words of merit from time to time.

I agree, although I don't just think they are good for newbies.

Whilst the experts are still contributing regularly it's as good for any with less experience or know-how than them in that area. Sometimes you have to shift through a lot of crap to find the diamond.

It depends what part of Canada it is! Shop around :p

Google is always changing their policies so every now and then (say, once a week or so) I learn something new about Adsense that I don't already know due to some Adsense TOS changes, etc. Plus, those "I've been banned!" aren't just vastly entertaining, but they're also pretty helpful to remind me what NOT to do in order to keep my accounts. :D

Regardless of everything being covered, new people will always need new help. Not everyone out there is an adsense genius. Things change with time.

What I'm finding is the forum is good for the ideas department. People post different ideas and links to different sites and they spark new ideas in my own mind.

At first I just posted the ads 'as-is' but now I'm playing around with a bit of blending.

Being such a newbie (just over a week) I appreciate all the comments, good or bad.
