Do you mean RU from other file hostings to your FP account?

Account size is not limited however as you know free users' files are removed in 30 days of inactivity. Sure, we would be glad if partners would upload content that is active, not dead. I believe the reasons are clear - we are not pure storage service, we are file sharing service.

We will check that. Seems high load sometimes gives such results. Should be fixed soon, also I am sure not everyone sees such speed values.

 

Also mike, I have had users complain about free user download speed....

 

What exactly complaints? Can they provide any details, may be contact our support team?

 

I think its normal free users cant over 200 kb/s

 

no, i mean to remote upload files from filepost to other file hosts. currently no site is able to do that. if it's working then most of us simply have to upload files directly to filepost with ftp. most people use multiple hosts and in order to give all host links they can only remote upload files to filepost which sometimes result in errors.

mrbowman is a heavy uploader and he post true hd movies which takes around 40 gb for each movie so his daily upload exceeds 1 Tb. some filehosts do not allow storing this much sized files as it occupies most of servers space. that's why he asked if he upload heavily will it land into problems.

 

I am afraid I can not help here - you should ask other hostings to add RU from FP. If they find any issues with us they sure can contact us for cooperation ( as we contact Willy and Hish sometimes).

I believe the question of mrbowman was replied. We do not have account space limitations.

What I meant is that sometimes people upload loooots of files and just keep them in the account without any sharing (may be they hope to start the business one day) - sure, such situations are not pleasant for us since they occupy the space and load the servers. It was just a general note.

 

Thanks for the replies, hope Hish & Willy do their best to implement fp to fs & wu as this will significantly balance the server load of all three file hosts.

I already got my first sale at first day I start upload as mian host filepost is rock I hope other uploader not seen this

 

I don't know about other hosts but I can RU FP to FSC it just takes several attempts which is time consuming and then out of a batch it might only be a couple at a time.

As been said before FSC as just grown too big, I hope the sale of lifetime premiums doesn't eventually become its downfall but obviously they have done the maths for future expansion.

and a 3 hour wait to download anover file thats bad wupload was 20 mins and filesonic 10 mins but 3 hours is far to long if you actually want to survive remove the 3 hour limit
and my people is cribbing big time bout the long wait

 

At first 'Wu' had 1 hour wait, then they reduced to 10 minutes. I am about to buy a new file host premium account ( some people are looking for new file host, you know what happend today ). I am testing filepost download speed, it reaches 30kbps , my conection normal download speed is 500kbps... filepost needs lots of adjusts.

 

Wupload is dead for uploaders
