How to maximize the Quality Score of my website?

I wonder what all can I do to increase the quality score of my website used in my Adwords campaign? I know that I should use the keywords that I'm targeting on my website - in it's content, h tags and in the title. Should I also use the meta keywords and the meta description for my website? Will this help me? So far I have not created the meta keywords and description for my site.

And I would also like to know if I should stop my campaign, make the changes to my site and then continue the campaign? Or can I make changes to my site to increase its quality score while my campaign is running, too?

I'd like to move my ad to a higher position, but I don't want to pay more per click, as I'm already paying enough - as I'm bidding on a quite competitive keywords. Therefore I would appreciate any tips from you guys on how to achieve the best QS for my website.

Also, is there any way how I could check the actual QS of my site? And maybe compare it with my competitors? I couldn't found the QS of my site in my Adwords account.

    The QS is per keyword.
If your landing page is already relevant to your keywords - better focus on improving the CTR.
The landing page optimization for Quality Score is only the beginning.
Generally most of the work lies in the CTR's side: tight ad groups, improve your ads, mind the match type, add negative keywords, exclude under-performing segments (location, device), consider using ad sitelinks.

What if my landing page contains the keywords but Adwords somehow do not recognize it? In my case the CPC is very high for those KWs (because nobody use them, it is a very specific niche and Google haven´t tested the KWs yet - thats the official explanation I got from Google). My QS is 4. How can I maximize it?

I hope you have enough money to invest in it.
What I would do is significantly increase the bids, create new and distinguished ads, and gradually reduce the bids, pause the poor-performing ads, add negative keywords.

The purpose of it is to gain high CTR that will increase your Quality Score for as many keywords as possible.
Then, once you "entered into the game", you can return to your original bids.

Nevertheless, you're risking the required extra budget. No pain no gain I guess.
