Hello, I run a Tech blog and getting tweet and like everyday on daily updated news + reviews.. So i have a question regarding Facebook like + Twitter tweet .. Google consider their value to place Rank ? Is there any benefit in search engine ?
Probably not much value from Facebook likes as it is highly unlikely that Google that can see those (this is why they built Google+) but probably some valye from Twitter. The best thing you can do is add Google +1 button, Google already said that +1's give you boost in rankings.
These social bookmarking sites only increase your blog's traffic not page rank. If you want to increase page rank easily then try to get more and more google +1 for your visitors. That would be a great idea to increase pagerank. Also you can join about.com forum.
What the Hell ... I did not asked anything related to the PR .. And if you know how to increase PR than why you asked same question here - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2329467
Google does consider and take into account facebook shares, tweets & +1's when ranking a website. And like said above, i have seen that a good amount of google +1's can increase your page rank.
Lets more clear to all .. I m not talking about Page Rank .. and i dont care about that.. I just want to know that social promotion can affect google search ranking ?
High traffic increases your chance of getting a good backlink. Let's say you've created some viral content that people went crazy over it, tweeting, +1-ing, liking, stumbling, digging, etc. and in no time it's all over the web. Some high-caliber bloggers and authoritative writers/sites would easily notice it and in time might write about your content and link to you for attribution. Simply said, social media marketing has become an essential part of SEO.
