Oh really? I've been working with them for 4yrs now and I'm getting lots of respect because I've earned them money. They pay me for earning them money too. 99% of people know why they were banned. DISHONEST people should not be webmasters. \ So you are saying that google is breaking its own rule by allowing these sites? WRONG. Premium publishers are allowed to have ads without written content.
I don't have anything against the big G, they also brought me a lot of traffic through their search. I have that AdSense account for over 5 years, and better earnings started after the first year of RobAid. It was never a priority (the website didn't have any adverts at first and 1 advert was added at the middle right later on), but I decided to add more adverts per page and earn more money to hire good writers. As I previously said, content is either an edited press release (that can't be treated as duplicate content) or written from scratch. I seriously doubt that was the issue. I did click the adverts up to 10-15 times in the whole last year when I was genuinely interested, and we never asked or hired anyone to click the adverts (you saw that CTR info gathered from Google Analytics since I can't access AdSense). After the latest website optimization and redesign our visits and earnings went higher. Our new and wider design allowed a leaderboard advert at the top which nearly doubled our earnings. Since I regularly checked AdSense, i used their new option to check from which countries users come and click in order to find the best time to publish new content and increase visitor loyalty. Maybe someone wanted to show their support and went click frenzy or regularly clicked ads (I doubt someone went click frenzy since we never had clicking spikes). I know I do click an advert after a good read on the websites I follow or a after watching a good video on YouTube.
@robaid : I',m so sorry for you, but you seem really strong facing this. Have to admit that sometimes google banned someone account or website without let us know the reason. I'll tell you an example : my master (who teach me IM ), had 10 of his website sandboxed by google without knowing the reason. None of all of his website using black hat method, only grey (1 or 2 website) and white hat method. But after google panda 2 launched, 10 of his website lost from google search engine. Tried to email google but no response from them. So till now, it is still great mistery... ^^
Exactly, the site that OP has quoted is not using adsense on those pages, so one cannot compare between that site and your site. The ban seems to be particularly because of complaints from adwords users who might have noticed the duplicate content on your site.
You got ripped off... You can buy thousands of PLR articles for like 5-10 bucks... and BTW, they will get you the same thing this guy got, banned...
Google is terminating accounts daily. Many friends have lost accounts possibly due to high CTR templates. I think that they should have stated the reason why an account is being banned. Don't you? At least other would know what to change.
I lied... was $12.50. Anyway, those are gone, and I just contracted with a writer, which is around $20 an article. 3-4 a month should do for now. As for banning... I would be surprised, since I bring them quite a bit of $$$. I even have big sites like AOL copying some of my content. However, they quote the source with a nice hotlink. If I do get the ban stick... I will of course come on DP and start yet another lovely 'i gots ban from google' thread.
It's really a small percentage of clicks, earnings and visits from the country I'm living in: AdSense Revenue $2.35 AdSense CTR 0.46% (whole YEAR, not one month). That probably emptied their cash account Aside things I was genuinely interested to (my mobile operator special offer, article writing, website optimization and somehow it knew my friend was searching for a car in NZ... probably related content), I noticed adverts for fishy websites about religion and clicked on those to copy the link in order to add those domains to the list of blocked advertisers (there were no earnings for those clicks as much as I remember). CTR is higher than average, but the number of visits is much lower so I reckon it makes sense. As I said, ads were properly placed: - 1 in the header top-right (added relativelly recently after the site redesign and further optimization which is a priority in my web development) - 1 between related articles list and bookmarking icons (only on pages with articles/news and i deleted that space now since there was a big hole...) - 1 where I currently keep the BSA "advertise here" advert (it needs time to define the number of page views so it's already placed there). I planed to add a main sponsor fixed advert so it ain't bad to start with BSA anyway It was strange to me since I didn't get any warning or notice, just the mail it is disabled all of a sudden. Can't wait for their reply.
Don't be ridiculous. There is something called syndication. Go check every one of Ezinearticles content and see if there are duplicate results. People on the forums like to jump to conclusions.
just add chitika and infolinks, they will earn close to adsense together. keep up the work. Thing is clicks from ur site was not converting well for the so called advertisers. Or if you violated adsense TOS then you know what you did to get the ban. I am using adsense form 2007. Google warned me 4 times for different mistakes. They know what is intentional and what is not. Wish you best of luck.
You don't be ridiculous... there is a thing called PANDA... we ARE not TALKING ABOUT EZINE (WHO ALSO GOT PENALIZED FOR THE SAME THING). and if you learn how to read you would see I said "most likely"... not that it was for sure... Jumping to conclusions...? lol wow...
Good luck with getting your adsense back. Google really don't care about the little guys. At all. Mine got banned because my girlfriend clicked on an ad on my site for Mercedes Benz, on my computer, while I was in the toilet. I appealed and G just said, "Tough luck. Please die and don't write to us again."
