First of all Google rank website based on the authority ranking that is a value of [1-100/100] and not Page Rank (PR) but in most cases high authority sites [60/100] and higher have high Page rank also PR3 and higher Without any further explanation here is what Google love 1. You have proper on-page optimization. And your page do attract visitors to stay on the page long time. 2. You have backlinks from high authority sites. 3. Your backlinks come from different pages. It's very important to get backlinks not only from blogs or article directories. And do not focus on only one link building strategy. (articles, blogs, forums, web 2.0, press release….) 4. Get monthly backlinks, do not build 1000s in one month and non in the next, try to get the same amount of backlinks each month, this way Google will give you more popularity and that's the main purpose of Google dance 5. Have at least 5 different anchor text, but the higher amount of backlinks most have your main anchor text 6. The quantity of backlinks you need each month depend on the competition, the higher your competition the more backlinks you need per month. Sometimes if you have a high competition you must consider a second help like link building service or tools. And your evidence for this is...? Ouch. Try to think this through. Imagine you are Google. You come across a website that has 2007 backlinks. Next month, it has 4014 backlinks. the month after that, it has 6021 backlinks. What do you surmise from this? That it's is an incredible quadrillion-to-oone coincidence? Or that some spammer is artificially creating a set number of backlinks in order to game the SERPs... You have 30 seconds to answer. Take your time. Be as wordy as you like. No? Nothing. Hmmmm.
agree. Bounce rate is a factor, but not an important one. high PR links are the most important thing in seo. A diverse link profile is important. Incorrect. Theoretically, you should actually build links exponentially. As your site gets more popular more and more people should link to you. In reality, once most people get their websites ranked, they stop building links and usually they maintain their rankings. I use one anchor text at a time. Once I rank for that anchor text, I move to another key word. Quality is more important than quantity, but you obviously do need more juice to rank for more competitive keywords.
What if you've created a content, something viral, on your site and suddenly the whole world links back to your site for attribution. Would Google consider that suspicious? Would that entail a penalty?
my only answer to you is research research and again research. I am not hear to convince anyone with anything. just goo to Google first page of a high competitive keyword and make a deep research for all the 10 results. my Proof is that I have put a 2 years old domain as Google #2 out of 4,000,000,000 search results with domains of PR7 and high competition Niche
