    Pinging is OK, however I personally just start building backlinks and my sites get indexed in not time at all!

    pinging is a good option.but before u doing this submit your site map on google webmaster tool and google index you its self.

    Use Google webmaster tool in your site. Then create good backlinks using high PR pages which are at the same niche. Then use social bookmarking and pinging. Hope your links will be indexed very soon.

    You create sitemap file and submit in webmaster tool or you can request perticular url to index in webmaster tool.

    pinging is a good option but its come under the black hat techniques may be site get penlized so, don't go for that.Google will index once a week .
