Which is more important good PR or SERP

hi friends i have many sites ranking good on google SERP and few other sites which are having good PR. So which is more important to get Good SERP on search engines or getting good Pr.

How can i get SERP for my sites with high Google Pr.

 

Both of them have their own importance but when when it comes to gaining traffic thus business than only thing is important is SERP because it is what which makes a website visible for others and PR is just a helping factor for gaining this.

Yeah I think search engine ranking matters more than PageRank because that's where the money is. =P

 

There's actually value ($) from both. A pr0 or n/a site might rank well for a good "money" keyword, so pagerank isn't vital to ranking well (or being RELEVANT in google parlance.) However getting backlinks from high pagerank locations can certainly help.

Pagerank is basically one of googles interpretations of authority. So... if page A has a lot of authority and it recommends page B as "the best tooth whitening solution" - page B should rank well for that phrase (or better than before the recommendation). While page B may not have any pagerank.

SERP, SERP directly generate quality traffic to your website
PR just a number, it wouldnt generate traffic or benefit your website

 

See, PR and SERP rankings are independent of each other.

You get good PR on the basis of quality of backlinks. A high PR does not give you good traffic or conversion.

Whereas, for SERP rankings, Google consider 100s of factors... Since you have high PR but low SERP rankings, so you should be worried because high SERP rankings give you traffic and leads.

Three things that you must focus upon to improve your SERP rankings,
- Quality of content published
- Quality of backlinks
- Social media reputation

 

I think for competitive Key word Pr plays an important. And if i have hight google PR then i can get good ranking on SERP.

Dear friend, there both are important, For more business or visitors you must need SERP and reliable also some other factors must have foofle PR.

 

Agreed... Both are important but more important is SERP. All depends on SERP. Main Traffic depends on SERP Only.....

 

If you are looking have a business of selling links on your site then obviously PR is more important than SERPS. However if you are looking for some good traffic and some sales from your website, then certainly SERP is more important, because when people are buying your product, they are not gonna check your PR, they will check your products and rankings.

So frankly it all depends on your way of making money on the net from your site
