i was trying to build backlinks the other day and i saw no one had posted this method yet it is so simple an idiot could do it

    1. go to yahoo site explorer
2.look at backlinks of competitors and you will find loads of backlinks you can get from niche directories, high pr blogs do-follow wikis etc
i managed to get in 10 minutes 5 PR5-PR6 backlinks one from a .edu just by looking at where the competitors got their links from

its so simple yet its hardly ever posted, why?

I believe it hardly ever gets posted on because at least for me it is basic SEO, no offense.

I do this sometimes too... but I don't think it's as effective for a lot of people. At least for my competitors, their incoming links are organic and I can't just request it...

most of the people build links naturally so they dont use forums, blogs and articles marketing this is why in high niche you can not do it. anyway those kinds of links will not last for long as google try to devalue them every update they make

RyanDan is right. It is pretty much a matter of common sense. But it is not as easy to get your links published at others sites as you are considering.

Just automate it with the Free edition of SEOSpyglass, sort by PR, and build your own high Pagerank backlink list which you can use or sell :D

Guys can you please clarify between an artificially created link and a manually created link for a newbie. If someone is using forums and putting link to their website in their signature is it a natural "Link Building" or not.

Yes, you have to use your competitors information against them...to benefit your site.
