Well, have seen this questions so many times on this forum. It depends on dozens factors. 1. How much money are you going to send/receive? 2. Are you going to sell anything or just offer services from time to time? If you want to use it just to buy from online stores a personal is enough.... if you want to run a business than you should choose a business... Or you can have both. Paypal allows you to have a personal and a business account.
I have had a Paypal Business account for 10 years---I have Paypal Smart Connect hooked up to it. I love the cashback. Casey Mahoney Brad P
You neеd to havе a registered business, with EIN number, tо get a PayPal Business Acct, аѕ I understand it. ..assuming you alrеаdу hаvе those, thе Business Account іѕ prеsumably going to give уоu a mоre serіоus business appearance in PayPal's eyes, and mаy help, along with othеr strategies, tо reduce thе chances of hаving the acct limited.
Well, you can act as a sol-proprietorship and you don't need that number but indeed having a business account will help you avoid being limited....but things are getting worse if your account is audited... you will need to explain every transaction that was made to/from your account....show emails, conversations....invoices...so be careful
It depends on you. If you are too much active in paypal and your whole business depends on Paypal then use Business account instead use Personal account. Personal account is cheaper too(payPal fees)
