Account got suspended, AdCenter rep says it's becuase of Google content

So our account got suspended and we're in the process of fixing the issues to get the suspension lifed. Here are some of the issues the rep told me we have:

    1. One of our websites is missing a Privacy Policy
    2. One of the websites has Google Ads on it
    3. One of our webistes has Google Maps on it (????????)

So i'm obviously posting about the fact that Microsoft has an issue with the fact that we have a Google Map on the website we are advertising. Are they serious? He says they don't allow it because we are promoting Google by doing so. I really don't understand how that's promotion of Google.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I can understand the privacy policy & the Google ads (to prevent cross network ad-bridging).... but Google Maps is WTF.

I think Google would also have banned you, if they noticed it before MS. I am fairly certain they do not like competitive ad networks being displayed where adsens appears.

Everyone is beginning to censor posts. I wouldn't call them idiots either, but I don't see this as a, "good thing". The Internet has escalated because of the freedom of expression and sharing. I think this is the big mistake AOL made. They attempted to harness the people on their site.

The truth is, the Internetet makes it very easy to cross-reference and share with other Websites. When roadblocks are put up, it makes a bad user experience. I think you hit the nail on the head, "It's childish".

It's better to follow their rules. If you get banned, it's hard getting a new account in MSN adcenter.

If you don't want to follow MS rules for using MS adcenter, then you should not be allowed to profit from it. MS owns adcenter and they can set ANY rules they want on how ANYONE uses it. Your choice is whether you want MS to help you earn money or whether you don't.

Same goes for Google or anyone else. If you don't like their rules, THEN START YOUR OWN PROPRIETARY AD CAMPAIGN where YOU set the rules.

If Google can dictate its own policies then why not AdCenter. They are just doing it for their benefits.

I never faced this issue because i never tried to put the diffrent advertisers ads in my blog.i have seen some nice comments here. if you want tout ads in your websites and want to make some money then you should follow their guidelines before appling f por it because if you do not follow you will never get your account approved.

its better for you to put the ads either of adsense or adcenter . you can choose one where you can earn good revenue. if you have google adsense and you are getting good revenue then stick to it or change to adcenter.

When u apply for MS AdCentre it asks whether you are existing member of Google Adsense or not. Mentioned in terms and conditions. Before applying any Ad Network, pls check terms well.
