Stats are always open to interpretation, so I am going to be as upfront as I can. In the month of July 2011 we received 3688 unique visitors, as seen in the graphic below, taken from our Bluehost hosting stats: In the same month we made 41 sales of Gastric Band Hypnotherapy, as seen with our Clickbank stats: So our conversion rates are 41 / 3688 multiplied by 100. Hypnotherapy works on most people, but yes there is a small percentage of people that it just doesn't seem to click for. It is usually the people with the more vivid imaginations that get the most out of this type of therapy. The good thing is that the more you use hypnotherapy, the better it works. Your mind gets more accustomed to visualising and accepting the suggestions. We have had a lot of positive feedback from very satisfied customers, so this is very encouraging. This product does work. We did consider setting up our own affiliate system, but we thought Clickbank was the best option. It is very well known, reputable, so our affiliates know that they will get fairly compensated for their efforts. Clickbank is very quick and easy for you to sign up to, so we though this was a good option. We already have affiliates who are selling this product and are receiving payment. We are hoping to soon attract some of the bigger affiliates to help promote this product further.
Yeha I understand - it's easier to let them handle it, but it's exactly because clickbank is so well known that makes it so easily blockable. Personally I ain't seen a single clickbank / adsense etc ad for a long time because adblockplus kills them dead. As for clickbank being reputable - sorry but I must disagree with that - in point of fact clickbank is very well known for scams and dodgy companies offering dodgy or non existant products - it has a certain reputation that I would not want to be associated with. Maybe they do pay their affiliates, I don't know, but that's not the point for me anyway (obviously it's important though !). It's funny - I really fancy giving your product a go, so much so that it's still swirling round my brain enough to keep me watching your thread lol. But clickbank - well I just can't go there even though I've been trying to talk myself into it - I'll keep trying
I understand your point of view, but being so huge that Clickbank is, there are going to be some problems here and there. You could say that the internet in general is associated with spammers and scammers, but it's not really a reason to not use it. As long as you personally act with integrity and have nothing to do with the rogues, then you are doing your bit to make the internet a better place. There are some rubbish products on Clickbank, but that is not always the case.
Just had a look on the Clickbank marketplace and noticed that we have a gravity score of 4.67 which is quite good for what is still a relatively new product. This shows that affiliates are selling and making money. We would obviously like more, which is why we continue to test and improve the site. We also need to get more affiliates on board, so some on and give it a try! I have so far only noticed one other site selling gastric band hypnotherapy, and below you will see a comparison. We give a higher percentage per sale, 75% as opposed to 50%, which means an extra $16.96 per sale. Our gravity is 4.67 as opposed to just 0.68, which shows that we are making far more affiliate sales. All my sessions are very carefully made. I am both a former professional musician and now a fully trained clinical hypnotherapist.
