Hi, I am getting closer to launching my new adsense site, and this is basically my first real attempt at making money from adsense. i have had an adsense account for 5 years or so, and have earned a staggering $23. I have read some information that it was better to get the site established a little before adding adsense. Something about Google seeing it as more of an authority site, so you get better ads displayed. Anyone have any thoughts on this, whether it is true or not. Thanks, Michael
Waiting is not going to make better ads. Ads are displayed according to what the user is searching at the time (DoubleClick Dart Cookie). Might as well incorporate the ads as your building the site so you don't have to go back and redesign it pretty much, later. Plus you want to always be testing your ad placement so that's another reason why I suggest putting them in now.
The key to success with Adsense is traffic you could add Adsense to a new site and earn nothing but once the traffic picks up in " theory " so should your Adsense earning's
I think no shitty sites = success in adsense. But most failing, because most can make just a shitty sites..
It makes little difference. We add adsense to new sites even when designing them. Until they get traffic it won't make much difference.
add your ads, make them the smallest possible, like 234x60, at least you'll get highest RPM ads for your content all the time. I also add adsense at the very start of building a new site, it's not a problem really as long as you build your site quickly, not publish the first page and then take months long pause, like I do sometimes..
Niche selection is most important for earning from Adsense. Do some research and find out some good keyword who have good CPC and in lase competition. Then create good quality content using those keywords. Then blend your ads with your page element. Then start doing off page optimization for organic traffic. Hope you will get good revenue from your site.
