I dislike the extension because its a ccTLD. I think its overhyped and no one will be talking about it in a years time.

Overstock.com changed their business site to O.co
However, now they are reporting decreased revenue and profits and blaming it in part on the rebrand.

You know, one of the first adopters of the .co domain is Twitter, which now owns t.co.
    It can be reasonable choice.

Wow, new knowledges here. O.co and T.co
So it must be so cool to have a very short name with .co
But if there is .com available for that domain name, why use .co? Waste of money. :D

Overstock is desperate that cant get O.com so they are taking every "O" in many TLDs, they got .o.biz and o.info too. I guess they will get o.me in future

If you want to use the domain for your business, you should use .com, cause its more serious then .co unless you have a business name with co at the end (like Flamen.co), this would be good for a business too...

Well, more than how cool a dotco is, what you should be thinking is; if you wish to develop an online business that banks on search engine traffic, you´d do well to use a domain that incorporates an exact match to the term. In that note, try to get a .com with a good exact match keyword(s). Almost impossible if you´re not spending more than 2k on it. The dotco, on the other hand, has greater availability of these kinds of domains and you can pick them up for registration cost once someone lets them expire. Google treats the .co as an equal of the .com in its search algorithm and therefore you have a good possibility of ranking well and banking on that traffic. That for me, is what makes .co cool.

It's perception. Domain TLD's are like girl friends :D

You may like it, but some one may hate it. It's up to you. There is no advantages or disadvantages in having them in life !
