Should we use " / " for targeting URL in link building?

Guys and expert in SEO. I have confuse with the right URL for optimization or create links.

Should i use http://www.domain.com/ for link or should i use http://www.domain.com.

How about in internal page. Should we use http://www.domain.com/post/ or http://www.domain.com/post.

 

I use http://www.domain.com
http://www.domain.com/post

 

I was told that it was better to use the backslash when link building so I did that for all of my clients and it made a world of difference. You should definitely use the backslash when building links.

 

you are right Jerlene but most of the directories don't accept "/" at the end of URL.

So ranking will be better if you use back lash at the end. Or it did not matter.
