Google has changed its search algorithm due to which now you will get 35% more fresh and newest results while searching anything. But the most fresh material on internet tweets of twitter are still not quickly crawlable by Google.
This seems an interesting move by Google as they have even made a search for gmail login users as a secured one so that information which was available earlier will no more can be seen in our analytics data but yes though there may be few number of user searching web with login in their gmail account.

Well, exactly Google caffeine was developed year back but it seems that recently Google has started to apply the same in large scale which might affect around 35% of web search result. Apart from caffeine updation Google has also made its search as a secured search by default for all gmail Login user. So now you can see once you are login in your email account you will be redirected to secured URL of Google search i.e. https://www.google.com. This is even going to have a major impact in terms of data collection from visitors.
Google announced algorithm like Google caffeine, Google dance, Google Panda etc. you must follow and update with Google algorithm for getting better result in ranking point of view.

This was happened in this current month. But this algorithm only to provide fresh and new search results. This is not Panda algorithm. The reason of your traffic drop will be different.
