What are the Modern SEO Technique?

Now that Google is doing all kinds of changes to it's ranking algorithm (Panda, Google Caffeine, etc), the old SEO techniques are getting more and more useless. Article submissions are only good for traffic, Directory submissions have no effect, PR submission's effect is dubious, blog commenting takes time. Is the future of SEO in Xrummer and similar tools are are there any other methods people are using to rank pages better in Google?

Disclosure: I've never used Xrummer or similar tools so I have no idea how these work or what results they provide.

 

I think they may depend on Google+ too now

 

Content is King!

 

Joining a blog network is still very effective for seo... I've seen great results from it. Article submissions is still okay but not as good as before. For best practice, its good to do different seo methods and not just stick to one.

 

The same methods work, these are rumors this always happens every year. Someone makes a post that some article submission, or Xrummer service they bought did not work for their website and the rumor spreads that these methods do not work at all. It is not a complicated process algorithms do change, actually they change more frequently than we notice but all of the software used for these services are also updated just as frequently.

 

The "old" SEO techniques are still gold - high quality content, high quality links. You can't beat them no matter what.
Dodgy and poor quality seo tricks (article submissions, directories, spamming with blog comments, no newsworthy prs....etc) are definitely getting more useless.

 

This is debatable, you cannot tell me if I submit a article to 10,000 directories at least half of them will stick.

Two types of SEO techniques you can use to get more traffic
1. Offpage SEO- Different techniques of Offpage optimization are directory submission, article submission, blog commenting, forum posting, classified ads etc.
2. Onpage SEO- You can change your website's content like title, description, meta tags etc.

actualy .. i still use the oldies but goldies techniques i used 2-3-4 years ago and they still work... everything that matters now ( just as in the past ) is rich quality content and high quality backlinks ( incoming one way links ) + Google plus is a good thing + if you do all by the book ( no offence to the blackhatters... been there, too much of a hassle ) google panda will actualy help you. I've seen a few quality pages that had upto 90% increase ( in all things - traffic, SERPs, etc etc ) after the panda update.

you just have to use all these things in your benefit and must think long-term if you wanna be good with the SE's and the traffic that you're receiving... think of it this way... would you stay long on a autoblog for example ?

Hope now search engines has become more social driven, so better try to concentrate on Social media such as Facebook and twitter, even Google plus can help you to gain benefit on your rivals. Quality and quantity is what modern SEO looks for.

 

especialy google plus since it's theirs ) + the panda works tight with g+ in order to give the search users the most relevate content. stick to quality both for content and backlinks

Huh...!!! Article submission drives good traffic by creating tonne of duplicate pages (which ultimately gets filtered in the search results)

And, who said directory submission has no effect, if done properly it can give you considerable traffic and powerful backlinks.

No doubt blog commenting is time consuming but results are pretty good. Along with traffic and rankings, it helps you in strengthening your credibility in your niche.
People say, its hard to find dofollow blog this is why we lean away from blog commenting... I would advise you to use Keyword Country for finding celebrity blogs of your niche.

 

According to me there is nothing like modern technique. The old SEO still works at its best. All off page methods are effective in terms of increasing traffic.
