It is a very nice blog, but the comments are marked no follow. I don't spam blogs, but if I am going to take the rime to leave the comment I at least want a backlink for my trouble.

 

Honestly, I don't kinda like it! They could've done a better job!

What's the only thing so likeable about the design is the top background mountain image, and it's not a blog component so we cannot much rely on it!

Nothing else is so impressive IMO! Microsoft designers can do a better JOB!

It was a personal opinion and I stand my point on why I don't like!

Yes it was ridiculous because background images, colors, and other aesthetic things do in fact matter in a blog design.

And the fact that you ignore the cool tags, the colors of text, the transparent tables (where is says Windows Vista News, and on top where the "Sign In" thing is), even the way the dates of the blogs look, and several other things.

I doubt any blog you own is better than this one so you shouldn't say they should have done a better job.

Earlier I was of the impression that this was an informal thread wherein you stated your personal viewpoint on how you liked the design, but my apprehensions fast dissipated when I saw that you're tryina force your liking on others.

I already stated in my previous message that this was my personal opinion and that Microsoft has better designers to a better job. It was a humble reply and nothing ridiculous in it at all. Ahkip reply to the thread too and you can see that even he doesn't think that 'It's the best design in the world'

I never said Background Images don't play an important role in the design, but here it cannot be regarded as a component and even if it does it does not go with the design. The tag clouds are an 'Oh! So common' component and are even provided by third party providers these days! Big deal ?? The transparent thing and the huge buttons don't go with the site either! The dates of the blogs is an old known way and doesn't make much difference either!

That statement was so very immature! I never comapred myselves with the microsoft designers, they sure are better ! But this work was not everyone'd like!

Do you even realise you're on a piblic forum, and not everyone would agree with what you think!

WOW! Look at how neat the images are in the menu on top.
And personally, I think nothing beats windows logo.
I still like the design of live.com more.
