Starting up a ebook buisness

Could anyone give me some tips on how to go about starting up an ebook business? I have enough money to start it all up I just need some tips please.

Yeah, to add to that, Google Trends (just google it ) might help you find those hot topics. Fill the need and desire with your service!

What type of ebook business are you looking to create? Are you looking to create ebooks, publish them, within the IM niche or outside niches...there are lots of different paths to take! In general though, the info product model is a great concept!

 

I also need some advice! What's better, to sell books via ClickBank or as Kindle books on Amazon? I am talking about short books (reports) with a price lower than $15!

I think you should have some sort of section where people can list their ebooks for sale too. This will help bring in more potential ebooks and customers. You could charge a small fee for every ebook they sell in that section. My main point I guess is to be unique. Why would people want to come to your ebook store rather than the thousands that are up now. Just put yourself out there and have a unique feature. Maybe look into a rewards system for your customers.

 

one thing I will like to ask you is the ebook site going to be free? If it free then you wouldn't have any problem getting people to visit your site.

 

The OP is looking to start a "business" not a free give away website. Therefore he is looking for ideas for getting customers to buy ebooks. Anyway, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a free section along with a paid section. Therefore you will get traffic and possible customers.
