I just had 2 sites declined at Buysellads. They are established sites, with original content, maybe not the nicest design... but not the ugliest either. Maybe they don't reach the traffic minimum required... Should I buy traffic in order to get accepted, then? Any experience with that?
It is recommended that you have above 15k pageviews. I just got in with 30k, but I've seen sites with less than 5k. The design plays an important role. Perhaps if we could see them it would be a bit easier. 1. How old is the site 2. PageRank, Alexa, Do you have a FB and/or Twitter account? 3. How many visitors and pageviews monthly?
The sites I have submitted do not have that traffic yet, but theyare ca 5 years old with moderate PR. No FB or Twitter (is it important to get in???). I think the design is at fault here + the traffic. Repass in 6 months.
No, FB and Twitter aren't really that important but it could help a little bit to see your site is more known online. What is "that" traffic yet? You need to tell us the pageviews monthly, if you have Analytics that's really simple. Or simply e-mail BSA and ask them what could be improved.
The sites in question have hardly 1000 uniques a month for the time being. This is the main problem right now.
Less than 1000 pageviews or 1000 visitors? Anyways, that's 30 visitors daily, which indeed is a bit too low. I'd suggest waiting until you're at 100 visitors and in the meantime try Adsense or some other service.
I can no longer carry AdSense since I sold my soul to the devil - I have a link to a casino (they offered better money!) Anyway, thanks for the help; I have enough to get me working now.
