video marketing

so we're marketing our new website with our video:

we feel that the video is great, and given enough viewers, will market itself. my question is: how can I get this video in front of as many eyeballs as possible?

 

My top tip: Give other people an incentive to promote it themselves.

 

Advertise it on myspace.
1. Upload it to myspace
2. Use robots and send around the video to thousands of myspace users
3. They will see the video they will recommend it to friends
4. Goal reached, many people will see your video

Register at metacafe and download their metacafe program. Metacafe is something like youtube but smaller and they have a software, which the users can install. The software will automatically download new videos for the users, alot of users also have the "Receive unrated (new) movie clips" on, so that can give a review and comment it.

If you are a video puplisher (but don't have to be) then you can also submit your own videos onto metacafe. Their system will automatically send the videos to the download list of other users over time. This way the user can see the video, read your description, rate it and also maybe click on the link to visit your site.

If it's really your own video then you also can make money with it, I think it's 5$ per 1000 views or 5$ MPC. It's still in beta and i belive that it will have a great future. The highest amount i've seen was around 20000$ that was given to a publisher for "one" video.
