Hello; I had my website running in Google and now i have updated the <title> tag to the some other name but Google shows the old title itself why is it please help, how many day will it take Google to update my title tag? Additional Details i dint edit it in view source, i had backup, i made changes in it and replaced the old files in the server with this new one.
I guess your new title tag doesn't indexed... work on search engine and sitemap submission and try to do social bookmarking for your website.
it will take from 1-weeks depending how much your site is search in friendly, but it will change rather sooner or later.
It's better to keep your pages/posts nofollow untill you finish the final opmization touch only to avoid this suffering.
Getting new strong links using that new title as anchor text will surely help indexing your site with your new data..
