I've decided to no longer play the Google local game. Still every time I suspend an account, a couple of months go by and Google Local find some obscure page on the internet and places that as my new local and I have to continue the dance again of claiming and suspending. Anything I can do? Funny second to last time it placed all my 22 reviews on the new local page. This time it put only 1 review on the "new" local page.
I have the same problem with one of my sites also. Would love to hear if anyone has a solution as this is getting very tiring.
It happens many a times... Your localised pages keep on appearing in the search results, unless you delete them manually using Google webmaster URL removal tool.
Rebecca, did not understand your reply. I know how to cliam, suspend, and delete a local listing. Did you mean something else? That is not done in webmaster tools but just done in local section. Problem we are having is that Google then find a new random page with my business name a puts that up with a random number of reviews it stores and I have to do the suspend/delete process again. It's like a hydra head.
I am not talking about your business listing... Its about pages with reviews of your business... The web pages that we see on result page. If you are deleting your listing it does not mean it simply vanishes out from the whole web.
