Hi, what do you think is any difference exist between to search: 1. On Google.co.uk from UK IP 2. On Google.co.uk from non UK IP 3. On Google.com from UK IP Thanks
I don't think there is any difference regarding the IP adress. If your site is good ranked it will always appear at the same place.
I noticed that SERPs are different in all 3 cases But I don't know what is the most accurate for UK searches
There is certainly difference in search result among your list, one good explanation is Google implement little bit different algorithm due to geographic location, as well as these data centers are not synchronized with their content like data center in US.
just put your query on the Google regional site for UK - google.co.uk,India- google.co.in You can also use the "Google Global" plugin for firefox to do this with easy
Difference among serps with different regional ips will be varied. The best possible results could only be found with both local search engine and ip belonging to same region or country. I think bing and yahoo have got edge over this when showcasing local search results. Google more often then not shows best sites not best local sites.
it surely helps to search in local area, the server of local area with specific ip can lead you to the you nearest possible location ..
There will be a slight variation in the search results depending on the location of where the user is searching for a particular thing. A well ranked site will appear in both the cases but not all sites will have the same ranking.
I have also noticed a change in SERPs regarding ranking of your websites in local and global searches,.It may be due to the differences in the geographical differences..
