    Hello,

I am planning to switch to some other web server provider company, which will mean my websites will be shifted from one Data center to another and obviously websites IPs will also be changed, my question is changing the IP will hurt search engine rankings?

Note: My websites have the same IPs from the last 5 years.

I don't believe it will affect rankings, no. It may help the SERPs in the particular country the IP is located in, however in a general sense, as long as there is no downtime when switching, and the IP is in the same country as the last one, there shouldn't be any issues with rankings.

I think too it is just fine to change hosting and IP, as long as there is no changes will happen to your site like pages that wont load making your pages inaccessible/indexable or changes URL that may result in dups.

I also agree with you. There have no problem, changing IP of a site. It is really a common phenomena to the people who are flipping websites.

If both data centers are in different countries then this might hurt, changing country will make you more closer to the country you shifted too and its neighbors.
