How can i get my site name with facebook?

    hello all,
    I am making my own website.I have heard about facebook fan page and facebook application.I saw many sites have facebook button when i click there it goes their facebook page.Usually i have seen they have got their site name after facebook like this facebook.com/sitename.I want to do same thing.What i have to do for that ?Should i create fan page or facebook application? please give the clear instruction. Thanks in advance.

    1. Create your fan page.
    2. Claim your name in settings if available.

    Simple as that. :)

    You will need 25 friends before you can add your own username. There's tutorials on Youtube to walk you through the process if not sure. Search 'facebook username' at YT.

    You should create a Fan page, and your page should have more than 25 Likes to change URL to an customized one.

    Here is the facebook url to create a fan page
    http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php

    It is fast and simple to create one
    and obviously more difficult to get likes

    If this is your first fan page you can get a url without likes.
    If this is not your 1st you will need 25 likes and then you can get a url
    (when you go to your fan page it will default to the 'get started' screen,
    then click on edit info near the top of the page under your fanpage name,
    then near the top it will say
    "Username: Your page needs at least 25 fans to have a username",
    if you currently do not have 25 fans it will say 'learn more')

    Unless you have 'real' friends', the easiest and free way to get 25 likes is to join free 'facebook like exchanges'
