You will get banned by Google. and if you get reported by the blog owner for consistently doing spamming, Google will definitely close your account. thanks
You can comment on different relevant blogs. Your comments should look like discussions, not like an advertisement.
Too much spamming destroys the scope of blog commenting. Blog owners become scared on too much comments where they should be happy with it. I have recently deleted lot of spam comments from one of my blog. Most of the comments were done with 'good post' + 2,3 html links. It was really disgusting. If you wanna comment on any blog, at first you have to know something about it. Most of the professional commenter don't even can't read, just check the PR of the page and write good post, thanks for sharing... etc + 2,3 links. If you take this kind of strategy, you would have to be drowned surely!
I would personally recommend blog commenting but don't make it your only method of obtaining links. Look for a wide variety and those which are on high quality and relevant sites.
I still use scrapebox, but now days I mostly do small blasts of trackbacks on high pr posts rather than heaps of blog comments

Your site might get flagged by various Google algorithms and might get sandboxed/deindexed/devalued etc. Then again if Google misses your site some of those massive amounts of comments might grow up to be decent links if they don't get removed. It's a pretty hit or miss situation and it is up to you if you want to mock up the virtual space with worthless comments.
Yeah I do agree with you, if you want to get higher rankings you need to go for other techniques of link building as well such as Bookmarking, forum commenting article and blog posting... Also there are other ways of link building...excess of anything is never benificial!!!
Blog commenting is good for increase traffic and get some backlinks but your comment is to be informative instead advertise if anyone has reported your comment as spam then you will be banned form Google so be careful to comment the Blog

If you comment too much on the same blog it will be marked as spam and you might get reported which is never a good thing because that way you will go in google sand box or banned forever... :S
Blog commenting can be a pretty good source of traffic, just don't over do it, and try to avoid blogs with thousands of comments because they are losing there value according to Google. It does make a big different if you are actually spending a little time on reading the blog and give a relevant comment, compared to just writing spammy stuff
I can't seem to find any blogs that allow dofollow comments. Nofollow are irrelevant most of the time. It is important, however, to have a mixture of both do and nofollow links. Looks more natural in Google's eyes.
Did you have any proof of that, if so? why not to blast the competitors with 200.000 backlink per day and get them out of business. Can google know how order or how make those backlinks and not bann the competitors site? I post this question on another thread to that have in most the same topic, can you please response to it?
