A tool to check number of searches

Is there any online/offline tool that would tell you the approximate number of searches on Google on specific words/phrases?
For example, I'm interested to find out how many times the "AMD processor circuits" phrase is seached over a month.

    Thanks a lot, Abhik.
Now, I have tested it with one phrase and I got some results for the exact phrase and for similar phrases.
I also see some metrics like number of global searches or aproximate CPC cost.
Now, the question is: can I use the CPC cost as an idea of how much would I get if I'm creating an website related to the specific phrase and place adsense on this site?

Adsense EPC depends on lots of things. For example, geolocation of the visitor, conversions from your site, Google's cut from the original CPC in Advertiser's Adwords campaugn etc.
You'll get the idea, but the actual EPC will be lower than the suggestion from Adwords Tool.
