Latest Google Updates, are your Adsense sites affected?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by outwest77, Oct 17, 2011.

A lot of complaining on many boards about traffic taking a big drop starting on this last Friday due to a new Panda Update.
How did your sites do? are they dropping in the SERPS? staying the same? going up?

    Comments please

wow I am surprised this topic is not being discussed on this forum, or perhaps I missed it. All the other forums I go to people are crying a LOT about the latest Panda Update killing their traffic. I guess everyone here is ok then?

Maybe because here we don't follow positions in search engine, there's nothing to worry about anyway, traffic comes and goes.

Thats because this is "not another forum".

This is DP friend, Den of most experienced webmasters who knows what it means by "Fresh content". Panda rocks cause it kicks the Cats ( read copy cats) out of the park. Hardworking gets their rewards and link build through article spinning are snapped away. May be time to write fresh articles for article directories too?

Traffic dropped and income dropped as well. Of course there is concern - it's not a good sign if your business is showing a declining income. But with that said, there also good and bad patches in any business. It's a matter of waiting it out with Google and just keep churning out unique content. Strangely enough my CTR went up since the traffic drop so that cushioned the impact of lost earnings. But overall the income from my biggest sites are down by about 50% or so.

In different forums, there are many site owners who have been worried about their traffic even if they do have adsense. Professionals in article marketing have also been worried about the big decline of traffic of major article sites.

Nothing wrong, that means your site is crap and it's catching up with you. Like it is a lot of people. There are so many millions of garbage sites and Google is finally putting a stop to them.
    Good job Google! =)
Looking at the first site in your sig, there is a boat load off advertising on it and just for shits and giggles I ran a copyscape and there were 44 matches. So THAT'S why...
Like I said, google is getting rid of the crap, Good job Google!

This is a little bit mean response which is considerately not looking all the factors. The effect of October 13 update does not only let selected sites to suffer. Even aged domain/high authority sites have experienced the drop of traffic. See the other forums and you will know what I mean. Most webmasters have noticed the following changes:
    - long tail searches have been hit hard
-sites with and without adsense are both affected
-top article and PR sites are hardly hit as well (you may checkout the changes through compete.com/)
So I don't believe it is just about crappy site/content.

Oh well, maybe some day Google will make a believer out of you too... Because that's EXACTLY what it's about...

Search phrase domains - garbage sites made for advertising = crap in googles eyes

Just becasue a site has Adsense on it don't make it quality...

Have been hit hard, there considered content farms...

    So...
