How many posters on here are Indian and/or SPAMMERS?

A few people ?!?! They're millions of spammers , literally . As little rule of thumb I always ban China and India when configuring iptables it just saves you tons of headaches , beside the good guys have proxies and vpns .

@OP Yes the quality is low in the SEO area but a troll thread won't solve the issue .

 

I have noticed the amount of spam today compared to 2 years ago is a lot worse. A little clean up would be cool, but I'm not complaining.

That's because DigitalPoint's administration team has gone far being too tolerative. It's time to set new rules that restrict idiots from posting. The community is growing constantly by itself and it is no longer in need of feeding.

 

Exactly, but if you ask me then Indian users are evrywhere and spam would have been this much bad on every forum. The relation of Indian users to spam has no relation here but i agree this is the most shit forum with 1 liners i have ever seen. Better google your problems rather than trying finding help here. My 10 yeard old sister has better English and vocabulary than some of the users.

Let me get this straight.. You've been reading this forum for years for useful SEO discussion, but never bothered to register and share/contribute useful information you may have. Instead you registered to bitch about Indians? (convenience stores, not casinos, to be clear)

Right, as I ban all traffics from Romania as most of them are script kiddies trying to ddos servers and top notch jerks who provide nothing of value, have terrible English and only spit venom.

I think we should stop BS about country and start to think in a broad way. Complaining about a particular country is non-sense in my opinion. I have lived in Australia, India and now in the US. There are spammers everywhere and at the same time we have gentlemen from the same country.

Banning a particular country is what ignorant folks do. Not every one has VPN and proxies - You are losing huge potential users. As far as internet culture is concerned, there may be lot of spammers from specific country - I agree with this. Say for eg: India, China etc., But there are various factors associated to it. Population, lack of internet knowledge and things like that.

Living in a developed nation that has given you all you want to educate yourself and accusing folks who are in developing / under developed nation is insane. They might not have the opportunity what you might have.

If you are pissed off the spams from a specific country, you must handle it. That is why you have signed up to be a forum admin or website owner. If you are not prepared to do, you have no job to be a forum admin. If DP might have considered that Indians are spammers then they might have lost some great folks from India who make this place busy and interactive.

So, folks, I would suggest we learn and move on - Instead of being childish and start bullying a specific segment / country, why not do better things in life?

 

From what I've noticed, Indians behave quite differently on other forums, so it's not directly related to them. I think as someone before mentioned that the posting is being outsourced for signature links.

There's shady people everywhere. Doesn't matter what country you're from. I must admit I sometimes marvel at differences in cultural standards, and not just online. And not just along nationality lines, either. People are really, really weird.
