After each post, what do you do to promote it?

I am curious to know what your own personal process is for each post?

Do you just post a tweet to your account? Do you put something on your Facebook page?

I do these already but it doesn't do much, I'd like to extend my reach but with minimum effort possible.

So I'm curious to know what people do. I've tried Pixelpipe but it always failed whenever I made a post.

Every time when I post new article on my blog, I always share on my all social networks and change my signature with new article here in DP.

 

Hmm nice technique in the sig, I like it. Which social networks do you post to? I wonder about social bookmarks, seems people don't really care about our site bookmarks anymore, I never got much traffic from them.

 

I am using all those social networks on my blog which are much popular among the people now these day. like: facebook, twitter, stumble upon, blogger, linkedin and so on. for more information you can see my blogs in m signature.

 

I use Twitter. I've also got a Facebook page that promotes my blog that gets updated with the new posts, and I use Stumbleupon - a lot of my traffic comes from there. Like SweatLana says you can also post links on the forums you use - I have my RSS feed linked up to my account here so that the latest blog post appears under my name. Of course the amount of people who visit your blog depends on how much you participate in forum discussions - I get around 20 visits a day from DP

thats proper impressive Crimebuster, I get a ton of hits if I post up a pic here but not had hardly any traffic from here for ages.

 

I simply share my new posts on my facebook fan page.

 

Yeah the majority are friendly peeps from the Blogging forum. Most aren't interested in the subject of my site but they still click on the link to check it out. And I post a lot on here most days, so most people can't get away from me

 

After posting a new article, I make the rounds in all the social sites I have an account with and post something like what the article is about with a link back to my website.

If you want to extend your reach, you'd have to make the effort. Minimum effort will bring minimum results.

HI. beside twits and posts I also search for relevant forums to link from. Alotugh the links a remostlo nofoloow there are some traffic from people over there.

 

After I publish a post I will share it on my Facebook profile and my blog's Facebook fan page (over 1,000 people combined) and I will tweet it to my blog's Twitter account (just under 2,300 followers). I will then blog comment on a number of blogs that have the CommentLuv plugin installed.
