Article directory CMS

    I want to develop an article directory but did not know what kind of CMS is good for this one. Does any one have suggestion for what kind of CMS is good for article directory? Cause i have tried to using Pligg but it's not what i am looking for.

    Need your suggestion

    It's very interested but i want to make website such as Digg, i thing Digg using Pligg as their CMS, is it true?

    Pligg is not friendly to search engines, many redirect are '302' type, I have ever tried to solve the script, but failed.

    I think an article CMS should have the functions:

    member register (member system), directories list, article page, submit article,

    php link directory have the system,

    Pligg is not working for you you can try PHPdug CMS. It is alos provide same feature as Digg.

    It is better to research the online article directories and select the one which suits your requirement and try to build or further action.

    ya, you right. i got trouble when design it with db, some error come and do not know how to fix this. At that time i am suing WP as my CMS

    Nowadays I have seen many of guest blogging sites rather than article sites, as it seems guest blogging looks more professional way of sharing content among the folk and further attract the end users too. So why not try by installing word press as a CMS.

    With some customization Templatic is excellent but if you are looking for a free solution then you should checkout articlesss wordpress plugin.
