What is the BEST keyword analysis tool?

I have been using Market Samurai, and I find it not only completely complicated and confusing, I absolutely cannot stand the accent of the guy in the tutorial videos. Once it filters words out you can't go back to a pre-filtered list, it does all kinds of inexplicable things differently than the tutorials, it's driving me insane.

I know there are a lot of products out there, can anyone recommend what is the most popular? The most effective? The easiest to use?

    Thanks.

My favourite is semrush. It's online service, so you can use on any computer with internet. And it's easy to use, and effective as you want. Ask, if you have any questions about it?

Thanks for the reply. $69.95/ mo? Right. I guess I should add that I'm looking for a tool that is a one off purchase price, not an ongoing monthly payment.

    Hello,
I tried to use Google webmaster tools too. I cannot achieve the best results maybe because I am not good enough or because my niche is saturated. Last week I found another method which is called Niche Profit Classroom. Unfortunately it is an ongoing monthly payment but I am not subscribed. I read the help, I understood the method and I applied it manually. That takes a lot of hours to find the correct keywords.
    According to that method :
    - firstly you find some keywords with the google tool and you watch the number of monthly search
    - then you take every keyword that you think it is related to you site and you do a research in google. But you put the keyword or the key phrase into quotes. If the number of the researches in google is very very big that mean that there is a lot of competition in that niche with this particular keyword or keyphrase
    - there is a table provided by this software where you compare the number of monthly searches with the number of searches in google. According to that comparison you can find out if the keyword is poor, fair, good or excellent. For example a keyword with 1000 monthly searches (in the keyword google tool) and less than 10000 searches in google (always put the keyword in quotes) is a good keyword for your niche.

You need to apply that method for every keyword. The software does that automatically. If not you can try manually as I did. I do not know if it is a good method. I ll check that on the following weeks.

Yes, it is, semrush is a bit pricey, but they update their database regulary, and give much more quality keywords that google adwords( which is free) or keywordspy( paid tool, which give many keywords, but they main part of them is a useless.

How good is the free trial of semrush? I agree with ethan511 that 70 bucks a month is too expensive.

Quite good for trial. But after sometime I feel the lack of information in semrush trial, 10 queries a day as I remember and 10 results in a report were not enough for me. So for testing main functions this trial is perfect(IMO), but of course it's useless in in-depth analysis.

Try AllSubmitter, it can do. no monthly fee.

Plus, also to analyze the competition according to more than 60 parameters.
It enables the user to create any calculated fields on the basis of the received data, for example our own calculation formula KEI.

long tail keyword pro....its used by adsense flippers and niche sites who not only tell you what they are doing and how they also tell you their monthly earnings they make from websites that are made and ranked on google 1st page using the software so you know it works. comes with video tutorials and info and at $97 buks is a steal......no ongoing costs and free updates of course...i have been using market samurai and like one of the 1st posts i too have had problems with it doing strange things and not being able to go back....by the way im not an affiliate to this

You only do not like market samurai because you are not used to it, it is a bit of a pain at times but it does show some really crucial data, I also use SEOQuake firefox plugin to help analyse the keyword further, seems to be a good combination :)

Many people complain about MArket samurai - too slow and a lot of bugs.
Google adwords provides only a few results.
Semrush - cool functions but expensive.
Ohhh, I think I will never choose one keyword research tool. =(
