My favorite business books are Blue Ocean Strategy, Innovators dilemma, Experience Economy and how to make friends and influence people.
history book and case study . i read lots of history Chinese book and also some of the teaching which you can apply to both life and business
I really like The Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki, it's interesting and inspiring. Also The Power of Intuition by Gary Klein. D Alishouse KBMS Global: International Consulting Firm
I just finished reading Donald Trump's "How to Get Rich". This is the best book I have ever read about business and I recommend it to everyone.
I read Guy's book very interesting. He's teachings are very powerful! Do you agree with Guy ideology that startups needs to start multiple projects (plant many seeds like he would say) and one will become successful (like what happen to apple when he was working there)? Why did you like so much The Power of Intuition by Gary Klein?
One of the best books is Getting Started in Consulting by Alan Weiss, and although not strictly for business, but any business man should read Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad, and Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, the two best books of all time (in my opinion, obviously)
A book that really helped me out with my sales technique was 'How to close every sale' by Joe Girard. Great book.
I do not have a book about business. but if the reference about the business can be viewed on the blog dodolgaroet.com
Doesn't that conflict with Steve Jobs who cut and closed down many Apple projects when he came back to Apple? The circumstances may be different. Also startups are usually cash-strapped and focusing on many projects instead of a few may be disastrous. No offence, Kawasaki is a good marketeer/consultant/ preacher/author but not necessary a great doer/ implementer. His startups like emailer and truemors did not go far and were all sold off cheaply. His latest project Alltop has been slammed http://techcrunch.com/2008/03/11/guy-kawasaki-launches-alltop/ He probably makes from money from his books and speaking engagements than from the businesses that he starts. GB Shaw once said "Those who can do, those who can't teach
OUT OF THE CRISIS is my favorite business book, it describe methods for quality measurement and improvement.
