Its visitors that i require to my sites not PR the days of having a Kudos PR are over, its all right i guess if you are either selling your site or selling links but that is all.Visitors are the life blood of any site revenue wise.
PR is important to me, as link building is a bit dependant on it, but as well traffic is also a very major factor
it is to me, I have just published 4 new websites all pr0 at the moment, when they go to pr1 I know I have a chance of success later on with them.
Yes, I have PR2 site that is before PR3 and PR4 site on google for my keywords. I beleive that google give this number so we all focus on it without getting any real information (Google is not stupid). Also, when you create a website with no page (under construction) and google scan it. You get PR0, then it will take months for your public PR to change even if google update it internally. Google play the following game: Lie and give useless information (the fog) to hide how it rank a website, and, in the same time, say "content, content, content", because Google will win the battle only if we follow its rules. It is a matter of life or dead to Google. My tip to defeat Google World Supremacy/Dictator .: get a good level in A.I. and language recognition. Thanks for us, computer can win any chess game but still doesn't understand a clue to what we say.
I'd be lieing if I said it wasn't important, but in all truth I build sites with lots of good content and so in that sense PR amtter less than good SERPS rankings
PR means nothing! In some of my particular niche's, I have PR2 sites ranking well above PR4-PR5 sites. And vice-versa (some low PR competitor sites rank above my high PR sites). You shouldn't pay much attention to PR. It just gives a rough idea about popularity -- but that doesn't always translate into higher positions...
I don't give a thing about Pagerank. Its overrated and useless in my opinion. Only a good pagerank doesn't give you a good SERP.
i'm attracting visitors and linkbuilders and poster so PR is important to me because they will post and build links in my forum
PR has long since been dropped by Google and all other SE's in the past 2 years - if you're a Professional Webmaster like myself, you'd know that, so stay up with the current news / trends ... backlinks and content are far more important.
I don't focus on PR I focus on traffic. I have some really great PR2 and PR3 websites that make super decent money.
Google has always stressed not to focus on PR but to continue building quality content, and great backlinks, and the PR will follow
Usually we don't care about it, but in actual it represent your website's value in search engines. Having an old domain and good number of back links get a good PR for website. So, no doubt it shows the strength of your website.
PR shows the value of site as per Google view. So it is important cause PR comes after good link juice, Good navigation, Site Loading and other important factors. So Somehow it is important but we can rely on it. The Search engine ranking not affected by PR.
