    It didn't mention in the article, but I think a lot of Buddhists are vegetarian and eat healthy.

    I think it has more to do with Buddhist practices of peaceful living which cause minimal stress thus leading to a long life

    I think all spiritual paths help decrease stress...and since buddhism and other dharmic religions emphasize medititation, i guess these things all help to make you live longer. However this is not exclusive to any religion i guess.

    I think the mindset of practicing Buddhism definitely decreases stress and increases satisfaction and happiness with one's life so living longer would come with that.
