Ok, so I went ahead and resumed my goclick.com account today because for some reason I had deposited $100 in their system.

I run a live-chat system, so I see traffic as it appears on my site. I also created a unique URL for goclick ads.

I started noticing weird "referrer" addresses (they were all numeric IP's, no domain names). When I clicked on the referring link, it sent me to some re-direct then to abcsearch.com (which was weird in and of itself).

When I went directly to the IP addresses without any parameters, I found seemingly harmless web sites with search boxes etc.. I entered in one of my keywords and just like magic, a page shows up made up entirely of advertisements, with my ad at the top, and with absolutely no content whatsoever. Not even a disclaimer that I was actually viewing ads.

Jesus! Am I the only one that finds this a little odd? I talked to their support, and they gave me a questionair to fill out and send back to them for every instance of fraud I have detected. Right. I am gonna spend all day filling out fraud reports? Sheesh!

welcome to the world of MFA (made-for-adsense) sites or in this instance MFG (made-for-goclick). i'm not sure if you have a valid claim - if the clicks are actual clicks, just because they came from a MFC site doesn't mean it wasn't real user.

i use goclick and do get real traffic. granted the quality isn't that great so you have to make sure you use very low maximum bids...

These clicks are all coming from "parter" sites that are selling ad revenue systems. Not exactly what I had in mind....

well goclick has always been considered a 3rd tier ppc provider. remember basically every single ppc company out there has some sort of mechanism for ads to be shown on partner sites....

goclick.com's partners are horrible. The only one that helps make it useful to my campaign is their Adware/toolbar partners.

1 out 5 clicks I get is "real". Since you play around 1/5 less then google it almost makes cents. :>

hehe - nothing to do with them.

i have used them successfully for years but as i said, you gotta bid very low. some campaigns work okay there, some i never turn a profit on. and the # i have still running seems to drop monthly.

right campaign, right click price, you can do okay. lots of trial and error though.

I agree with Cool1g. I have had OK results campaigning with GoClick. If you stick with the low bids and loads of keywords, you can get a fairly amount of good traffic.

Comparing to AdWords I'd say, even if 4 out of 5 is fake, the price would be about equal. Though, I don't think 4 out of 5 are fake, I believe (or better, I experienced) it much lower.

    Greetings,

    Giorgio

If you want to find adult sites,
all you have to do is to go to goclick.

Then, when you analyze the results, you see many adult sites sending traffic, but from the same region, country, city, and on the same time.
This way, you see their where they COME from.
Average of one page per visit.
... and you pay for it!
