Using adsense on youtube....

    Anyone else get the offer to display ads on their youtube videos? if so any experience with differences between regular adsense and youtube adsense? Since the CPM is a bit depressing :p (at 9k views)

    One of my friend doing adsense on youtube. she saying youtube adsense is waste of time because of low ctr and cpm.

    I wouldn't recommend using youtube with adsense.

    1. very low ctr and paid less then pennies
    2. you are take a risk on your adsense account. I heard a lots people get banned through youtube

    Somtimes I use youtube to keep my CTR nice and low :). Since I used my custom built themes (check sig) my CTR is over 4% overall.

    The replies make me laugh. My Youtube earnings are around 40 times greater than my website Adsense earnings. YouTube partnership is by far the best and easiest way to make money on the internet.

    its all based on views, 1k website views pays more, but 1k youtube views is so much easier to get.

    My videos are low CPM videos because of their nature, so I can't really say I'm afraid.

    I'm confused at some of the replies on here... admittedly I've not run an adsense project on youtube, but I would imagine that on average the ctr is higher as the ads are more intrusive then standard adsense ads on sites. Or have I got it completely wrong?
