So what do you think about Unity then? I've installed 11.10 in a separate partition, because
I'm not ready to part with the traditional Gnome2 interface just yet ;)

I don't see any significant change in Ubuntu 11.10, but I'm always happy to see software updates because that's a sign that the community still maintains.

I've installed it in a separate partition, but I'm actually sticking with 11.04 as my main OS.
I'm no Unity user, and I'm having some issues with Gnome3, so I guess 11.04 will have to
    do for now :p

Bugs..? Well, I use an old-CRT monitor, and the correct refresh rate isn't set automatically,
AND there is no way of changing it other than running xrandr commando's... What a drag!
But actually that would be a gnome issue I suspect.

I will nеver "upgrade" аn OS ever again, it аlwауѕ leaves уоur system half-assed, іn а weird bizarro state betwееn 2 оr mоrе versions. Best to back uр important stuff аnd do a clean install (also nice tо hаve multiple partitions/hard drives for experimenting first), рluѕ yоu аlwаyѕ end up doіng ѕоmе spring cleaning on yоur machine

I feel that it is a bit too high on its resources usage compare to the previous versions.

I've upgraded to 11.10 but I'm using gnome-shell instead of unity.
