What to do with this domain

I have the domain l0calh0st.net (sp I think) but I don't really know what to do with it, I bought it cause it was dirt cheap as well. But can you guys give me some ideas on what type of site I should build with it? Any suggestion would be awesome, please don't just read the thread and leave without posting something. Thanks again for any ideas.

Probably personal use would be good. Or you may try to put it online selling if you would like to earn some money with it.

 

That is zero and not O in the characters right? Build a blog that talks about localhost, make sure to have nice amount of content that will give you traffic from search engines as with the domain that you have, don't expect people to come back or go to it directly as it is not brandable or easy to recognize.

If you do not have time to manage the contents you can also start a blog where visitors can also post their contents related to the topic you choose. For this you can give them a credit link to attach within the content. The idea of starting the blog is very simple, a blog can offer information, what google loves the most. When it gets popular you can sell ads on it to earn some revenue.

If the idea of blog do not suites you, you can go for Forum as well with the localhost niche. Forums are also very helpful and can give you some income from your website. There are many people out there who want help regarding localhost.

You could always turn it into a review site for all the testing server programs out there such as XAMPP and WAMP etc.

 

create a blog related to hosting/servers/networking and build links. once you get PR, you can sell it and earn some good money.

 

Use the domain to offer people a testserver, for testing scripts locally on your server (virtual localhost)

 

I second this idea, but for your own a sole use (perhaps that of your friends too) because nobody else than you, who know the sequence of letters and numbers to read it as localhost will be able to find your domain on the net at first.

 

Dont get stressed on this domain, just drop it.
