Does alexa rank helps to get good google page rank for any website? I know, alexa and google page rank are directly proportional to each other. Still, this questions arises in my mind from last few weeks, finally thought of posting this on forum..
Once again, no... Alexa rank is only based on the Alexa Toolbar users, it has not influence on SERPs. Nevertheless, being listed in Alexa is not a bad backlink
No Alexa has nothing to do with SERPs, we are ranked #1 for several high competitive keywords but our Alexa ramking is around 240,000
They are both different from each other, and Alexa rank has no influence of where your site places in the rankings.
Agreed... theres no direct connection between PR and Alexa rank... however its reasonable that you will see an apparent correlation as if your site rises in PR through more inbound links and becomes more promoinent in search results, your Alexa rank will likely rise also. Joe
There is no connection between alexa rank and google page rank. They both are different identities which represent different factors of your site. And yes don't bother too much about PR just concentrate on traffic and you will succeed. Best of luck for the game
How could you get a backlink in Alexa? You can submit to their search engine, but I don't believe you will get a backlink, could be wrong though.
The statistics page for a website in Alexa, includes a back link back to your website. By the looks of it compete.com also do the same.
Alexa is totally different from google. Alexa rank is based only on the Alexa toolbar users. Anyways, it is good to be listed on Alexa.
