your files are small... maybe you just didn't have luck

i tried to reduce that variable since i'm uploading ONLY premium files... 2 and 4GB... :| and the 2gb one has password )))))

 

same problem here... i didnt receive my payment today (48.2$). i waiting to resolve hish.

 

odo13tz you will reduce the ratio but you may also stop free users who may start following your posts from upgrading.. I upload to a popular blog, I get sales on 150MiB files - I get sales on anything

you realize that all filehosts trims the downloads and the sales, but, the elite category (top 100) always gets them complete because they have a reputation and can't risk a bad review from these guys. the masses (where the real money are) never gets 100% from dl or sales, this way filehosts are making money. for example: if i make a lot of 1 month sales and i am on a fixed PPS plan, the filehost always lose money. how they recover those money? simple: they trim 10% dl from the guys that are not in top 100, and 1 to each 2 sales made... this way the filehost keeps it's good name and make a s**t lot of money - understandable, since they have to buy servers and pay tech support teams.

the baddest theft i encountered was at fileserve - you must read the fine print - they count ALL downloads, but they pay the completed ones, but since they count them all, you never know which one was completed :lol:

why the hell i was making 30$ from dl 8 months ago from 150-300mb files, and now i can't even get a sale from 4gb file?! i considered that the premium market is saturated, but what i post is a very narrow niche, and i mean VERRRRRRY narrow, so it's practically impossible that from 7 guys that downloaded that file all to have premium.

this is common sense logic, don't you agree?

PS - this isn't about filesonic; happened to me at oron, uploadstation, fileserve...hell, all that i've used since now!
PPS - if i had a filehost i'll steal the s**t out of you too guys. If you can't beat the them, join them!

You could be right in the theory that FileSonic favors top100.

I also do NOT trust any file host.
It is too easy to cheat for them

Yeah? They could still be stealing 10%-50% of our money.
Last time I checked, some of the biggest ***TRUSTED x 10000 *** gambling sites went down and it is obvious to everyone now that they cheated their customers.

(This is NOT a post AGAINST FileSonic - but file hosts in general.)

i Understand you post some good files but it doest means that you will get sales for it .!!
So Kindly Please Stop Noncence Comment on FileSonic Thread ! And concentrate on your work !

And Post Your Application as a Uploader .!

Good suggestions, but any file host could still steal half your sales without you noticing.
If your stats says you had 10 sales yesterday, who says the host didnt steal 10 sales before you they 'allocated' 10 sales to you?

Only a fool would trust a file host.
Unless they show some report from a reliable law firm, I do not trust them.

 

first of all, you should stop with the personal attacks (this is the second one, on the third one i'll report you), learn some english, learn to read (read my post carefully).

my argument wasn't about filesonic - it was just as an example (stop kissing Hish's a** so much) it was about filehosts in general.

my post was just my personal opinion only.

have some common sense and learn how to behave on a forum!

 

well, whenever someone bought premium from my file and told me about it, i found it to be credited correctly. i trust FileSonic 100%!

@odo13tz, don't make false accusations without any proof!

 

Well, you are in top 100 - so in theory of course your sales has been credited - all of them
I (we?) just think that you are trusting some random guys making file hosts a bit too much.

If I make a file host and promise to be VERY nice to you in some thread while stealing 20% of the sales would you join?
I promise to be very trustworthy!

And if you happen to miss a sale I would just say that it was an error or that the customer did something wrong.
I would be very FAST at correcting such mistakes in order to gain your trust
