I would say do not put all of your eggs in the same basket. Buy some other properties or have a ebook created for a topic to sell. Spending 2k on advertising is like gambling it
Get some further advertising in magazines for web users (check out the site dennis.co.uk, the magazines I advertised in and it really helped me) Try and improve features.
But that doesn't really help with his question. I would personally spend it on upgrading my site, graphics, possibly have a mascot designed. Presentation is big in the hosting industry and adwords are too damn competitive for only $2k. Then i'd head over to webhostingtalk and post my new site and design. Possibly use some of the money for an 800 number to make my site look more legitimate, even if it goes to voicemail.
is common to see people rushing to join a program or affi . to make money . or even create a 1 page website and hope that there can make a living off it . only to find out that he have spend tons of money and still no visitor or nobody clicking anything . .. earning money online . is like cooking . you get many eBook and info online that tell you how easy is it to cook . and all you got to do is mix the right thing together . and you get the final taste gourmet . but the fact is not so . is really understanding what you are doing that is making you the money . money only speed it up or make it more easy if you use it correctly . if not you will be one of the thousand out that , that is making online business so profitable cos you paying blindly not know what you needs or not knowing what you are paying for . . The two parts to look at to increase your sales are... 1.Traffic 2.Conversions Traffic The more traffic you have to your site the more sales you will make. Especially, targeted traffic. There are many ways to drive traffic some of which are..... Article marketing Video marketing Press Releases Facebook Twitter and many many more.... I suggest you pick one or two and get really good at them and then add more to your bag of goodies. Conversions You increase conversions by split testing features of your website. This is an in depth topic and a book could be written to cover many aspects of it. To sum it up it depends on your current amount of traffic. If your traffic is minimal start with driving more traffic with some of the various methods.. Hope this helps...
I sell website packages to clients which can include hosting plans. I now have around 20 clients hosting on my reseller account. I also sell sites on Flippa which clients can host with me. I provide an excellent service but reseller hosting is only part of my service. I find it an additional passive monthly income.
I'm planning on getting started with Google Adwords for my very first time. My impression of my results isn't great. For example, If I put $200 into google adwords what is a reasonable return on sales? If I only get $100 in sales what was the point?
True - It does not answer his question directly but it was my instinct that when you have tunnel vision because you made a few sales from a website that someone needs to broaden his thinking. Too many people have watched all day there aff. stats pages to see if they made a sale So in spirit of the Ops Question: 1. Make new aff. sites. 2. Buy Advertising from sites with traffic 3. sell a product with your hosting 4. Become a reseller ( your own web hosting ) 5. ask other web hosting aff. how they made more sales.
social media is the best way to get more sales. you also can interact with your clients or your prospect costumers there.
Social media can be a very effective way at building up a good client list and interacting personally with clients. It can also be very targeted
You could run some PPC clicks on some new domains to see which keywords are profitable for you, and once you find some of these choice keywords rinse and repeat
Half money pay to bloggers to write a positive reviews for your product with the links to your site. That will pay off in next 2 years for sure, if their blogs are really quality ones. The rest amount can be invested in sales or research of your niche.
