Is there a tool that can check more than 1000 SE results?

I am using the DP Keyword rank tool, but it only goes up to 1000 results and my keyword is not in the top 1K. So is there one that checks more than 1000?

Not that I've seen, but if your page isn't in the top 1000... then the message should be clear for that keyword...

Well you can't even check more than 1000 results on the main SERPS page so I doubt it.

I checked the Custom search engine to see if it can be done on that, but alas no :(

sounds strange why you want to check past 1000, I rarely check upto 100, let alone past 100...

To be honest, if you are not in the top 1000, my suggestion would be to spend your time getting more BL's, even just directory submissions will pull you up to well under position 1000. Then you will be able to track them and see if other stuff you are doing is working or not.

Ok, well the website in question is http://www.halo-2-glitches.com.
I want it to show up when people search for "halo 2 glitches". It was showing up like 2nd or 3rd for "halo glitches" and now it has for some reason dropped to about 30th for that phrase. So it has to be possible for me to show up under "halo 2 glitches".

lol, sounds like you've been hit by the -30 penalty, where your 30 places behind where your meant to be! I've never seen any sign of this before and have only heard people talk about it

Yeah, I just started using the DP tool and it seems to go back and forth from 0-5th place to 30-40th place every few days or weeks.

I also just noticed that I come in 8th place for "halo2 glitches" (no space between "halo" and "2") which is kind of wierd because I make sure that there are no typos on my pages.

Hmm... Googled that and found this - http://www.seobook.com/archives/000657.shtml

Which suggests that I should stop using "Halo 2 Glitches" as my title for directory submissions. I have submitted that site to probably 300 dirs now, all with the title "Halo 2 Glitches". Maybe that's why I can't get in the SERPs for that phrase?

By the way, there is always possibility to check further than 1000 SE results by doing that work manually. If you really need it of course.

By the way, 99% of people searching more than 1000 results are spammers who want to make lists with pages containing "leave a comment" or "You may post in this topic". Dude, be honest and admit than nobody have time to manualy visit each of 1000 result.

There are legitimate reasons to search for content after the 1,000 mark - searching for older and little-used webpages can be useful. It's not all about spammers or young webmasters tracking themselves.

You're on the first page of MSN and Yahoo for "halo 2 glitches", you're just lacking the needed incoming links for Google to give you a good listing. MSN and Yahoo don't care about backlinks, Google cares about them the most.

I can tell you are intelligent just by that single post ;) I'm the creator of some questionable tools and reading your post made me spit up my milk because it's so true.

It can be good to analyse all the results seeing what doesn't work. It's like bad movies. You learn more about movie making watching them than good ones.

Also can be good to know all the bad neighbourhoods for your keyword so you steer clear of them.

    What about using this query?

P.S. There you can add as_q parameter to search their whole index to see if a certain site exists therein.
