This is my website register in Australia and Site domain name is example.net (guess) I found my ranking in www.google.com But my targeted region is Australia and I want my ranking in www.google.com.au So what should I do to get ranking in www.google.com.au ???
Well it's difficult to rank in google australia or any other google location wise search engines because when you search something there so your website should contain links like if it is from australia so link should be like example dot com dot au so it will rank fast in other search engines of google too.
My Site registered in Australia and Address is also local Australian. We have done local submission also for same but still it shows rank in Global Google not in Google Australia.
Try use the link building technique focusing on .au sites. I mean you should gather backlinks from .au domain extensions sites.It works for me some days a go before panda updates. I'm not sure if its still work.
Try submitting your website to directories with .au domain and create backlinks from local websites or forums which have .au this will for sure give your ranking on local google search.
Google place is good and i know it helps to create the local listing but how it helps to me. Is it improve the keyword ranking??

add your site to google webmaster tools and set geographical location to (.au). It will definitely work for your site
if possible, try to make Google local listing and as you have already ranked globally so don't change them aimlessly. Just make few more landing pages with your target keyword having Australia key-phrase. Link those pages through internal linking and try to have some links through blog commenting or articles etc. It will come soon.
